The inaugural XIS Elementary Drama Club completed dress rehearsals on Wednesday, December 1st, for XIS’ Christmas Celebration. Filming will take place next week with the official TEAMS Premiere occurring on Friday, December 17th at 8:00pm.
There will be 6 different student groups each performing a play with all singing traditional carols to celebrate the Christmas season! Scene slides for the performance were constructed by our very own XIS Woodshop classes and Woodworking Club! We are so proud of all our students for the hard work they have given and dedication they have shown! We are especially thankful to our advisors who have given so much time and energy to pour into our young students’ lives!
Sports
The Winter 2 Sport Season is in full swing at XIS! We are so excited to announce that the defending Chang’An Cup Champions will return to the Chang’An Cup to defend their title! However, this year is a special year as XIS will be sending 2 teams to the End of Season Tournament.
For the first time in XIS’ 25-year history, our school has fielded a Varsity Girls’ Basketball Team! Additionally, there is a separate Junior Varsity/Middle School Basketball Team this season! We are so excited to have so many students involved in our basketball program and look forward to helping them grow as they reach for their goals!
