On December 17th, the 8th grade arranged the periodic table out of the cupcake elements after studying periodic trends and types of elements. Students needed to efficiently work together during this special half-day activity to place each element in its location on the periodic table. Afterwards, they each presented a poster displaying the characteristics of different metals. These are two of the creative activities this year’s physical science students have done including aluminum boats, mystery powder exploration, and atomic models. Whether students are on campus or at home, more hands-on learning opportunities are coming in Semester 2!
