Then midway through the second half, Daniel Lee scored with an assist from Minjun Poa to make the score 2-0. Final Score: XIS 2, Hanova 0

Group Stage: Match 2

In the second match, the XIS Warriors faced the Blue Dragons of XLIS. There were no scores in the first half with a sound defensive effort shown by both teams. However, early in the second half, XIS’ Abraham Kim would score on back-to-back goals to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead. XLIS would score later in the second half on a ricochet goal. Final Score: XIS 2, XLIS 1

The win allowed XIS to emerge from the group stage 2-0. This guaranteed a spot in the Championship match. With Hanova advancing out of the group stage as well, the Warriors would face the Hawks in the Championship Match!

Hanova would answer shortly after with a goal of their own to answer and make the score 1-1. Midway through the first half, XIS Warrior Daniel Lee would earn a penalty kick and convert on the goal to give XIS a 2-1 lead going into halftime.

Right after halftime, Hanova struck on a long goal to equalize the match 2-2. However, XIS would score twice in the second half behind goals from Daniel Lee and Minjun Poa to earn the XIS Warriors the Championship. Final Score: XIS 4, Hanova 2
