As SGA, the Student Government Assembly, it is our mission to consider and communicate the interests of the student body. We also strive to create an environment of encouragement and learning for all students.
This year, SGA has already begun to serve XIS by serving students and planning events. At orientation day, SGA offered tours to students and helped staff with directing parents around campus. We also organized games for the Handbook meeting to make it an educational and fun experience. Year-round SGA functions are also now open, such as the Snack Shack, where secondary students can get special drinks and food during lunch. Some events to come include Field Trip (October 13), Special Lunch (coming October 17—order soon!), and Spirit Week (October 23-27). We hope you are looking forward to these SGA events!
